Hartley Lifecare: A better way to manage Roster Costing

Hartley Lifecare: A better way to manage NDIS Roster Costing
Hartley Lifecare, a well-known not-for-profit based in Canberra, plays a critical role in providing accommodation and support for people with disabilities and their families in the ACT. Managing a range of carers, they deploy staff across the houses they own and operate, ensuring in-home support is tailored to the individual needs of their customers.
For Hartley, managing these rosters isn’t just about assigning carers – it’s about designing personalised schedules that meet the unique requirements of each client. Their client services team shoulders the responsibility of making sure rosters comply with complex rules and regulations, all while remaining commercially sound. As you can imagine, it’s a delicate balancing act.
A Changing Landscape
The past few years have been challenging for Hartley and others in this sector. Shifts in the NDIS funding model, ongoing staffing shortages, and rising operational costs have made managing rosters even more challenging. In such a tight environment, every roster needs to be as cost-effective as possible, with no room for inefficiencies.
That’s where our Roster Costing solution comes in.
A Game-Changing Solution for Hartley Lifecare
Built on the Jedox platform, our Roster Costing solution allows companies like Hartley to either upload or create their rosters and instantly receive accurate costings. This is a significant shift from their previous process, where they would outsource each roster to an external company – a process that is time consuming and quite costly per roster. Not exactly ideal for an organisation that needs speed and affordability to thrive.
By bringing this capability in-house with our solution, Hartley and other organisations in the sector can drastically reduce the time and cost of getting visibility over their rosters.
In fact, this could be the game-changer they need to continue delivering vital services while staying financially sustainable.
